Susan graduated from NYU in 2019 with a BFA in acting and a minor in mathematics. She studied at Atlantic Acting School for three years, Stonestreet Studios for a year and Commedia dell’arte in Florence for a summer in 2018.
Since graduating, Susan has moved towards the Stand Up scene. She LOVES it! She started stand up with the only all female, non-binary, genderqueer group in NYC, Women Stand-up (WSU). She’s performed with WSU since they began in 2019 and many more times with them since at various off broadway theaters (you can find her shows on vimeo or go to the stand up page). Now she is on the board and is super excited to help this company grow! On-top of that, she edits the promo videos and is the in-house photographer for all the shows. She feels like she finally found her calling. She was always a performer, but stand up quickly became her favorite outlet.
Susan has continued to perform Stand Up outside of WSU as well. She has performed with Drew Tessier’s group at Broadway Comedy Club (including at YAAAS! Queer Comedy Festival) and also at Gotham Comedy Club on numerous occasions! Stay tuned for more exciting Stand Up information as it rolls out.
After studying at Stonestreet studios, Susan has developed a passion for film editing. She’s edited: three short films, a pilot to a web-series and many actor’s demo reels. Also, she edited three compilation videos for FuckJerry Media.
Susan grew up camping and hiking every other summer with her family and continues to go whenever she can. They visited Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming twice when she was young and it quickly became her favorite place on Earth. When they weren’t hiking around the west, Susan grew up in Wheaton, IL just outside of Chicago. She enjoyed growing up there with her best friends but as soon as she stepped off the plane in NYC for her first visit, she knew this would be home. She hasn’t left since.
